For this new collaboration, Louis Erard turns to architecture and design with atelier oï, a regional company that has been shining internationally for 30 years, and a radiant watch, too.
atelier oï proceeded in a basic way: “To radiate from the centre outwards.” Taking care to reduce the technical vocabulary as much as possible, reminiscent of the shape of a sundial…
Once again, Louis Erard is going off the beaten track by combining contemporary design and high-end watchmaking expertise in fine stone and artisanal glass dials, geological time and mechanical precision, the visible signs of luxury and accessible fine watchmaking. Three variations, each in a limited edition of 99 pieces.
Pushing the boundaries of its artistic design even further, Louis Erard reveals a completely unique triptych. Alain Silberstein was given carte blanche, designing the series of three watches like a picture over three panels to make a whole work of art.
Louis Erard continues its odyssey in artistic craftwork. Still in a limited edition and with the same contemporary take on the tradition. Each dial is made piece by piece by hand guilloché in Switzerland, with an attention to detail normally reserved for the absolute top of the range.
Excellence Émail Grand Feu – Small Seconds – Limited edition of 99 pieces. The coming-together of the most exquisite traditional Grand Feu enamel craftsmanship and fine contemporary watchmaking. For the very first time, Louis Erard is incorporating an artistic craftwork; and this is only just the beginning.
